Social Benefits of Our Watches

Posted on January 22 2017

The wristwatch you see above is the very first HANDMADE wristwatch I ever got. God I love this watch. Not only does it really strengthen my image and persona, but it also makes me feel good. For some reason the touch of rough cow hide on my skin with a large casing makes me feel like anything is possible - and I start behaving like that aswell!

But there is another thing I noticed that happens when you wear one of the awesome wristwatches that you'll find on this cute little site as we speak:

I've found that it doesn't really matter which watch you get as a man - all our wristwatches instantly draw attention (tastefully) and spark up a converation. I can't even remember the number of times I was stopped whilst walking on the street by a stranger who was intrigued and wanted to know where I got it.

At numerous parties people started talking to me and complimenting me on my watch.

Now, personally, I don't have any problems meeting new people - especially at any type of social event be it a party or a more formal occassion. However, I've found that a lot of people still find it difficult to talk to strangers and create a connection.

But when someone wears an accessory that stands out, they immediately have something to talk about and not surprsingly, they quickly strike up a conversation.

"Hey man, that's a really nice watch!"

"Dude, where did you get that watch? I love it!"

"Wow that watch is very big and manly, isn't it heavy?"

These are just some of the comments I got from men and women who started a conversation with me. Some of them even became friends haha. Kinda crazy how life works out isn't it?

I once read a book written by a woman called Leil Lowndes titled: "How To Talk To Anyone". As a result of that book, thousands of cold approaches, and numerous social interactions, my communicative abilities are good. However, I honestly feel that for a lot of men it will be important to make themselves approachable for both men and women.

In other words, you really want to make sure that you create a look that stands out IN A NICE WAY, so people have something to talk about. Once you get the ball rolling and the conversation is flowing you' can talk about anything.

It really helps to have an 'avatar' that encourages people to come over and strike up a converation with you. Personally, I found that wearing an awesome wristwatch is one of the best ways to do so.

I feel that a nice watch should compliment and strengthen one's image  and not overdo it. Nobody likes a try-hard, and nobody likes that smooth looking guy standing in the corner all night. Please don't be that guy.
